Continental Airlines Has Sewage Snag

by Andrew Sparrow on June 20, 2007

A transatlantic flight on Continental Airlines became a little uncomfortable for the passengers as raw sewage spilled out from the toilets in the middle of the flight. Passengers had to hold their noses and deal with raw sewage flowing up and down the aisles for several hours.

WOW. on a transatlantic flight too. Geez. That would be horrible. The passengers must have been richly compensated for having to endure that horror.

I haven’t been able to find out anything about their compensation so far. In fact I’m surprised but how little news coverage this story has gotten. I heard about it on Leno and it took me about 20 minutes of searching on the web to find out all the details for my post.

I’m hoping that those customers that paid for first class were given more than the $500.00 that the balance of the aircraft received. Five hundred dollars is an appropriate gesture for something that could have been caused by a passenger, in error or otherwise!
